Slap That Google Adwords PLEASE!
Since I had started work, I had slowed down on my online marketing plans. I found some useful software but I have not act on it yet. I was budgeting myself how much I will spend on the programs and how much it cost to advertising the product that I had purchase. Maybe to others it sounds so easy, just buy that product and it does all the work for you. Just need to promote like mad only and everything else looks easy. I just go blank *blink* after that when I read similar emails since I didn’t act on it to buy the product. I do read my emails everyday to check what out what latest product the gurus are promoting. Just realize most of them have the similar product and videos to share. I guess they are the leading internet marketing gurus to promote the “hot” selling product.
After 1 month of searching for answers to my questions, one article in my email was very interesting. I would usually just scan through the email and if it doesn’t sound interesting, I will just archive it. He was mentioning about franchising as a example. I do know they pop up like rabbits in different shopping mall but his words just slap me across the face “People get rich in this world by solving other people's problems, and when you sell someone your opportunity, you are not solving a problem, you are giving them a bigger one!” He was promoting a system that duplicate success which is very similar to franchising.
After having no replies from the “Internet Marketing” lady that I had embarked this online money making program (Counting 5 weeks from the date of email), I felt that sentence is so true. You just promote the product and how you are doing to do it, you are left alone, you have a bigger problem ahead of you. I had to search information how to use tools to help me promote the e-book and how much it is going to cost from trial and error, etc (the list can go on) Her Job is done to start you off with a free website and how you going to use it to your advantage is your own problem. She already did what she believe it’s enough. She got her commission, who cares what is after sales service as her main goal is just promoting and getting people to buy the stupid e-book. What is the first thought in your mind? Scam? Fraud? Though how much you want to say it’s a scam but you cant really put it that way. She had sold you the product and you already receive the product and how you want to apply the concept, its all up to you. Wow. It felt like a big slap on my face, I am left with a bigger problem ahead of me.
Sometimes I don’t know whether to laugh and cry on this matter, since I have a goal beyond this, I just take it as a pinch of salt that the road will be long and harder if I wish to have my own business. This is just a testing ground and learning how things works and what I will face in the future. If it works, It will solve some of my problems. To me, it’s a learning curve on “Welcome to Cyber World of advertising through Google Adwords.” . The cost to advertising may not be that much compared to putting up into the local newspaper or classified ads offline but it is the stiff competition that we have to overcome.
I just received Matt Bacak Internet Marketing Dirt! Its a old copy of Dec 2008 but i didnt believe i will received it. Was reading through and found it quite interesting. Will share my thoughts on the newsletter soon.

I was surfing on Youtube and found the song is very catchy. Hope you will enjoy it too. It’s a good to watch. I am not really a movie fan but I do highly recommend the show to anyone. It shows the harsh reality of life in India and made me count my blessing in life. We all have own struggles in life. How we go through in life and how we live our lives, there is always a story to tell. I remember that Singapore was similar to that back in 50’s to 60s (forgot how long ago it was but way before my time) where there are a lot of slum areas and how my great grand parents had to suffer through to get the urban lifestyle in Singapore.
Yesterday I had shown my unsuccessful attempt in clickbank and how I can’t even make a sale. I don’t know how the lady does it but i guess we do need to spend more time in learning how to get to the first page of the Adwords to have any impact. I guess she will not really want to tell the secret of her success. I can’t blame her since there is money concern. Up to date no reply (over a month) and I am totally fed up to even try emailing her ever again. Maybe it will work for people who just want to make a quick buck or two but what i feel that if compared to long term running, i don’t see any benefits to do this. I would agree it’s a starting platform for me to learn how internet marketing works and find my own style to make some money online.
After 1 month, what did i learnt:
1) Harsh Reality of Adwords – Cost of Advertising
2) Google Adwords will be always improving the quality page
3) Small Business owners will have a harder time to fight with the big boys – competition
4) Resources, products, services and feedback – Constant Improvement
5) What makes customers want to buy your product? To Hit the button buy
I just realise that why some famous “gurus” from the internet marketing are going for crazy offers of their products as the competition is getting more lately. Maybe If i had started earlier, well i would be just earning from e-book and enjoy the fruits of labour. I will never know. Since I had started to want to do this, i have to accept whatever harsh reality comes along.
I had been very careful as I don’t want to overspend on something that don’t seem to be useful. After trying these freebies, nothing is really free. The word “Free” is just something to attract everyone to see what they have to offer. It’s the way to get people attention is to provide something Free. I do agree that is how i went on to buy some of the products online but so far i am quite sadly disappointed. It didn’t help me to solve those items as I had mentioned above. What I do need is something to solve my problem with my products if I have ever really going to start my business. I always ask myself this question, what is enough to get the top spot of the advertising first place and what is important? How much can you think for relevant words to make it to the top? I was posting these questions to the lady and not even a decent reply back. Is that called good after sales services? Just selling that e-book and that is it? What do we need to do to get earn something? I know that she will never reply because she wouldn’t want to tell you the answer to her rice bowl. Or we need to learn the hard way before getting the rewards?
Quest to find the answer to my problem 1 : How to get the top spot in advertising and not spending too much for it in order to get profit?

Small World - Meeting 2 Buddies @ Same Place & Time
Well, this is the first time I would never expect is to meet up with my 2 buddies at east coast park today. Roy was just talking about meeting friends being uninvited guest near the BBQ pits and I was just saying not likely we will see anyone. Boy! I was dead wrong. I was staring at a guy and he looks so much like my friend. I was telling myself that it cant be and there he was talking my other buddy! Oh dear I was dead shocked. I was asking Roy, "Is that Justin?" He also look at him so hard and said, "Yes?" My friend Stella turn around and say,"Odie!!!" We had chatted up for awhile before going our own ways. Somethings really so hard to be explained in Life. We were suppose to meet up during our CNY (Chinese New Year during Feb 2009) but we were all too busy. And today we saw each other. Anyway glad to see them and they are all doing well.
Ok, Let's see.. I had joined the online internet marketing on 25th Feb 2009 and up to date its empty. Wow.. Wondering what went wrong. Yeah I had stopped for 1 week only since things are not going well. I dont mind showing that I had not earn anything since i had first started and followed every word of what the lady and the e-book. The cost of the Adwords was just too expensive for me to do trial and error. I need to find a better way to solve that problem. I dont mind spending the money as long I do see some results but its ZERO!! I had read online that I am not the only one facing this problem. There is sure a way to go around advertising and earning something.
I had spent hundreds over a month already and no results. Maybe I cant compare to what others have tried and tested but I just know something is wrong. Everything is just sales gimmick out there. What is going to solve my problem? I just want a decent way to earn some cash while working how to bulid my own dreams as mentioned in my previous post.
I had took my time to read back the mail listing that flooded my email, some tips are decent and logical but always they end up want to sell something to you. I had tried a few and end up I felt i am buying outdated product that was hot 2 years ago.
I had started my new job and Thank God that I am adapting well there for now. Hope things are ok. Only after getting my first pay cheque next month then I will be able to start working on all this information flooded in my mail box. I am waiting for the butterfly marketing and hope it will help me in some way or other.
Not much tonight since I had not been doing much research. Twitter is simple thing to use. Try it and maybe you can get more friends :)

I had found you - Solution to my problem
Well, after stop to use Adwords for awhile, I felt good. I wanted to learn more about the 2 guys that blow my mind away. Side Track :I had waited online for 4 hours for the butterfly marketing and ordered my copy. I dont know when it will arrive but once its here I will post my findings.
Limited Offer - ClickNot sure how long this will last but do check it out as it was really true that the server was overload and crashed. I was there for 4 hours of waiting and clicking in vain. I am glad I was still able to get it in the end.
Anyway back to 2 guys that had blown my mind away, I do want to get their product.
Firstly, I just want to see how they are going to offer me a good deal that worth every penny of it. (Really bad of me but if i am going to make them the last thing I will buy online, then they had to prove to me)
I had seen many sales offers until i am so sick of it. Very dead tired and really just want to throw them away. I dont know why but even how famous internet guru are, i dont feel interested anymore. To me they are just big FAT sales gimmicks, whether it works, maybe but I had no mood to test all of them out. If you know what i had gone through for the past month, you will feel similar way.
They made me sit down again to read over what they have to say again. WHY? Simple solution to solve my problem!
That is what I need and found it. What made me say that? Its the HARSH REALITY OF ADWORDS (forgive the caps) but that is what captured my attention. Its not having the hot selling product that dont sell or everyone is selling, it is the COST of the advertsing of the product. That is what i need to find out so deseperately that no one is really saying the TRUTH about it.
From what made me started today is to sell e-book online by becoming affiliate and using the Adwords. My dreams came crashing down. I needed to find a solution to my Adword problem, its causing a big hole in my pocket and no results. I always had to question myself how much is going to be enough to get the first page placement? How many key word relevant to the things I am promoting the product?
I was not really interested to promote e-book that only teach me basic and end up what do i get? Nothing. No value addded to what my dream is.
My dream is to open a small shop selling flowers and soft toys. It had been my dream for a long time. Selling Cute stuff that Make myself go crazy. Anime related things that I love doing and dont feel that I had wasted my time as I have love them since young. I had done online trading for TY beanies for 5 years. I had stopped since the popularity died in singapore and due to the unreasonable demands of retailers. If i didnt stop, maybe I would be a happier person today. But that was my younger days. Now I wish to go back doing that. I love every moment of it. Making Friends and helping those who really love the beanies and not really just buying for re-selling profit. It brought in alot of friendship across USA, UK and Canada. I really miss those times while thinking back now. It had been about 5 years have passed by since my last trading of beanies. I wish I do have my good record of good reference sale but sadly the website went down when the beanies popularity died too. I never thought too far during that time.
(Free Tip : Any good reference online , do a back up!) :)
I am still not telling who are these two guys? Why? Do I want keep the information for myself? Yes and No.
Yes : I wanted to try out how good they are really are and worth what I am mentioning here.

Yeah I should be writing how to get a quality score in Adwords, but I just want to take a break from all these. What I want in life is something that i can be comfortable with. I am happy with what I have now. Comfortable small house and enjoying life. Life is so short, my best friend had cancer last year at the age of 27?!!! before 4 months to their marriage. Thank God that He saw her through and now she is happily living with her hubby and building her new home and starting anew.
After that my life did change alot. At my previous job, things change so fast until I didnt know what was happening and I was out of job. (To cut the long story short) And I did rest for awhile before finding other job but due to some reasons, i dont feel that I am suitable for the job and now here I am finding a way to have a lifestyle that i wish to lead. Freedom to work from home or bulit my own business.
It had been a struggle for 4 weeks plus to find something that really i wanted.
I had tried many websites and spend quite abit but to find out that they are not suitable for me. I was getting desperate and tired and sick of what I am doing. But I told myself never give up never give in. There is something sure i can find really related to what I am searching for. I have the products in hand but google adwords is really expensive and i am not getting the results to make a sale.
I had many freebies.. I had opened an email account just to let them flood that email to provide the information that i was looking for. The famous internet gurus Shawn Casey, Perry S. Marshall, Michael Cheney or who ever, i had gone through their freebies... (call me cheapo but I do have budget constraint so I cant just buy off the rack) They are good in their own way, and teaching ways to earn online. I had gone through 400 over emails to learn what is the way of earning online. What I was doing what not working. I dont want to be everyday watching my adwords and seeing no results. What keywords that I need to make that sale? Its just not the page but you need customer to buy the product and being happy about it.
I was not happy about my purchase online. After reading awhile and trying to apply, i get bored and sick. I am not finding the answer I need. I had been searching for so long to make me feel i found it. I just did. I was revamping my blog and there i saw that ad, i just decided to click it and wow.. I was amazed off. They are really different from what the usual sales gimmick that I had seen. Just two guys there saying what is true feeling in my heart, I was really blown away. I really wanted to try their product straight away but due to money constraint and caution heart, I am putting on hold for awhile. I need to find some money before i can start on it. I still have bills and debts to clear, so it will take some time for me to act on the plan.
I never felt this good after 1 month of searching and finding information online. I just cant explain how I felt but I was really happy after so long. I really Thank God for his blessing and let me find those words that I am looking for. I will tell more on the 2 guys later once I had tried and tested their stuff. Maybe its just another sales gimmick but they dont hide the truth of the harsh reality of Adwords.
Some of my friends were asking me, You have this online "Lobang" (opportunity) why dont share it with us? I just ask them this question, Well if it works, you think I am not sharing? It is not working that is why i am not sharing anything yet.
This is not something i want my friends or anyone i know to just jump into and feeling that its just a scam. Is no point to say how good things are while they are not. Maybe they are good to others but not to me. I am not satisfied with what I am having right now since they are not producing results. I had gone back to the lady who so called help me but up to date no reply for 3 weeks. I decided that if there is no help, its ok, I can managed on my own. Even how the odds are against me, i can find the way to see this running a long term. I am not looking a short term goal. I want to find the life style that I am happy with.

Quality Score = High % CTR (Click Through Rate) + Relevance Keywords + Landing Page

STOP! Adwords is KILLING me!!
Do you ever feel like that? Trying out the things online and it just draining you instead of helping you? I decided to stop using Adwords for now. I think i need to study and understand it better before I ever try on it. Yes it does bring in traffic, but at what cost? Burning a big hole in my pocket. Lesson Learnt the hard way. Will talk about Adwords more later.
As you can see from this any PPC advertiser that does not understand the concept of Quality Score runs the risk of paying heavily for their ignorance.

Google Adwords - Does it help with Traffic?
Well, I had been trying Adwords for a week plus now. It’s quite simple to set up and there is alot of ways to make a simple ad. For a beginner like me, i just follow the steps and trying out after paying abit of money. One thing I learnt that Even there is alot of e-books and notes, how much budget are you willing to spend on the adverts to promote the links?
I will say it is painful to the pocket as I cant really afford huge sum of money spend of advertising. Even using formulas and stuff to keep the budget in check, i was wondering what kind of amount of money just to make the sales? I wish I know.
Maybe my keywords are not unique enough or I am not doing something right. I wish i can answer myself the questions that flowing through my mind. I dont see the results instantly. What I can do right now is trial and error daily to see how the ad goes and hoping one day I will see the results.
Recently, I just felt like giving up. I don’t have any mentor to teach me and I can only depend on notes, books and what I read up on the internet. It’s not easy thing to do.
At this point of time should I just give up and let go? I do admit I don’t spend that much as I am approaching this area with a limited budget. Maybe that is the problem?
Back to the topic, Adwords does help in traffic, I do see more clicks (traffic) if I have set more budget per day. After trying out, I will google online to read more about Adwords to try to understand and how to use it more effectively. Results not yet shown but i hope one day, I can really learn how to use it better.
This is just a stepping stone for me if I really ever want to have my own business. If I can’t get through this simple step by step way, (blaming myself on being very stupid and slow to understand that is so simple to the point that I failed to see results!) I don’t think I can be successful in things that I really had dream to set to do.

A Beginner's Woes - "Now What?"
Ok I had gotten myself into this and the next question will be, "Now what?"I had read through what it had asked me to do and try to apply it using their step by step guide. I do feel like an idiot at times but i always have to tell myself that if this can work for others, why cant i do it too?
There is so much information out there, i felt like i am swimming in the deep pool without getting anywhere. (Well, you are not alone if you feel the same way)
Always have to rememeber this "That this is NOT A GET RICH SCHEME, any form of MLM Scheme or High Yield Investments. This is also Not some kind of Get Rich Overnight kind of system. This system requires work too."
Ok, Now what? Time to search how to get traffic online. There are alot of free information for you to read and study. I had been gathering information and taking time to read them. There is no easy way out unless there is really someone who can show you the way. I wish there was but since I am alone with this. Internet is a tool to use it and spend time to learn.

How it all Started?
In Feb 2009 :-Well, Since I was jobless for a time being and had a lot of time on my hands. I decided to explore what we called it earning online. Was it really true that you can earn online or was it just another way of scam? I decided to look into this area by googling.
Its really a powerful tool. I managed to find some local home based jobs to look into.
Seriously...? Well it depends on whether your effort to work on the things they teach you through their website. What was on my mind was that if that small sum of money can help me in the long run, why not?
So that is how it started.. For now, I am still learning how to make it work and I will blog how things are going on as weeks going by. Wish me Luck!
