Introduction to Google Adwords Auction
Well, i had just revamped my whole blog. Hope its much easier to look through. This is a short Adword Auction Introduction by Google’s Chef Economist, Hal Varian posted on YouTube. I find it quite easy to understand and hope all can benefit from it. It may take some time to load, so please bear with it. Thanks :) Summary : Adword google can help out advertisers and customers to be happy. Next question in mind : How are we going to get the Quality Score? From Google Adwords Support Site A Quality Score is calculated every time your keyword matches a search query—that is, every time your keyword has the potential to trigger an ad. Quality Score is used in several different ways, including influencing your keywords' actual cost per clicks (CPCs) and estimating the first page bids that you see in your account. It also partly determines if a keyword is eligible to enter the ad auction that occurs when a user enters a search query and, if it is, how high the ad will be ranked. In general, the higher your Quality Score, the lower your costs and the better your ad position. Quality Score = High % CTR (Click Through Rate) + Relevance Keywords + Landing Page Next Thing I will put up notes on how do we get this Quality Score. P/S : Most of the notes i share is what is avaliable online by doing the Google search. Type and search. I hope it will help in one way or other. If there is any copyrights, just drop me an email or leave a message. Thanks! Best Regards,
